This is a very unique and rare Owyhee Blue Opal Drop Cabochon. The material comes from Oregon, USA.

Owyhee Blue Opal is a common opal (meaning it has no fire like an Australian or Ethiopian Opal for example) with gorgeous blue coloring. The dark grey area is translucent with banding when held up to a light source. Super unique, super beautiful!

This piece is polished with an angled girdle for easy setting and is ready to enjoy as is!
